Car Maintenance Tips

There are many things that can happen while you are driving. If you’re defensive driver, thinking of ways to lessen the problems with your car, can help save your and other people life on the road.
Here is a list of car maintenance
  • If you are driving with a dirty air filter or a low tire pressure your fuel supply is affected by these minor problems in your vehicle. If your air filters are clogged it can lead to lower or insufficient combustion. It forces your vehicle to work harder, waste more fuel, and can decrease the lifespan of your engine.
  • Belts and oil beneath the hood requires normal checks too. Just alter the belt if it is worn out. Do not get them revamped. Change the oil if car run more than 3,000 miles.
  • Give a regular maintenance to your car with a reputed car company or showroom. Weekly monitor the car’s water supply, oil, fuel, air filter, and tire pressure. These can have a huge impact on the vehicle’s performance and safety on the road. These are necessary to keep the engine running.
  • Be sure all your lights are clean and working, including brake lights, turn signals and emergency flashers.
  • If your car indicates any warning signal it means any of its maintenance is pending. Don’t wait for the signals give periodically check to your car.
  • Assessment of the engine sensor is essential because if the oxygen sensor fails, the computer can stop working at-least it has no sense the air/fuel ratio, so it ends up guessing. Your car performs highly affected.
  • Keep tires inflated to recommended pressure. Check for cuts, bulges and excessive tread wear. Uneven wear indicates tires are misaligned or out of balance. If you have bumps on the top of the tread, you may need shocks or struts.
  • Give a service check to all unseen parts such as engine brake fluids, battery and oil fluids.
